• Support the Chief Estimator with all projects bid and awarded, while maintaining standardized procedures and processes for the estimating department.

• Support in identifying potential projects to bid, maintaining a bid registry for ongoing successful and in-process bids, coordinating and running weekly acquisitions meetings with office to discuss potential projects to bid and status of current projects.
• Works collaboratively to create and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders, such as Company team members, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and designers. As well as actively participating in industry, client, and community relations to enhance the company image.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ relevant experience in estimating, or a mix of experience in estimating, field supervision, and/or project management.
• Self-performing experience in estimating, preconstruction, field supervision and/or project management.
• Proficient in using estimating software, Microsoft products, and take-off software.
• BS in Construction, Engineering, or related degree is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Organize and oversee all processes of bid review, during and after bidding, to confirm bids are accurate, and obtain project COIs and P&P bonds prior to turning successful projects over to the management team.
• Provide strategies as necessary to help identify potential risks, and work with the executive team to mitigate these risks.
• Reviews project plans and specifications, attend pre-bid meetings, review documents for contract, risk assessment, and requirements prior to bidding projects, and coordinates with the team to confirm complete scope/bid.
• Prepares project budgets, job costs, and detailed turnover documents for successful bids to project management teams and maintain involvement as needed throughout progress of the project.

• Review and be familiar with purchases/material orders and subcontracts after they are prepared by project manager or estimating
