Responsibilities

  • Main site point of contact
  • Assist the Project Manager in reviews and updates progress and cost reports, schedules and requirements for completion on a regular basis
  • Monitoring all onsite safety, jobsite clean-up and a respectful working environment,
  • Advises project manager and/or management of potential problems, work interference, schedule difficulties, etc., assist in circumventing/resolving such problems as required
  • Attending weekly meetings regarding progress of project and budget
  • Actively review the work performance to assure good quality control and make certain work conforms to plans and specifications by Architect. Aggressively checking on and walking units, buildings, site on an hourly basis.
  • Must be onsite during all construction activities and during construction works this would include weekends
  • Responsible for getting all phases of job complete: from site works through receipt of occupancy by Owner and completion of punch-list items.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 or more years experience working as a Superintendent preferably in a multifamily construction GC but will consider commercial or industrial experience. Working knowledge Microsoft Products-Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Experience working with Project Management in FinishLine
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Ability to work inside or outside and in varying weather condition, must be onsite during all construction activities-including some weekends.

Responsibilities

Bring your construction and development expertise to life! Here’s what you’ll dive into:

  • Be the bridge between Development and Construction, fostering collaboration at every stage.
  • Explore and discover — dive into site due diligence and gather the insights that drive decisions.
  • Champion feedback — guide Development with team insights during the conceptual design process.
  • Craft precise budgets with limited information, bringing accuracy to each phase.
  • Direct the design process by implementing project team strategies with architects, engineers, and consultants.
  • Perfect the project vision — review drawings and specifications with a keen eye for detail.
  • Innovate and improve — analyze building systems and recommend the best designs and materials for quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Keep budgets on track with regular updates that balance design goals with financial targets.
  • Master the market — manage an extensive database of subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
  • Offer creative options with alternative proposals to enhance budgeting and bidding.
  • Seamlessly coordinate with the Construction PM to develop scopes of work, schedules, and manage bid analyses.
  • Finalize and finesse budgets in collaboration with the Construction PM and President of Construction for presentation.
  • Work hand-in-hand with the team post-bid, ensuring smooth transitions during project buyouts.
  • Foster open communication and uphold transparency within the team.
  • Stay organized and timely with expense reports, timesheets, and company documentation.
